Freelance, travel, repeat.

Well, that was a trip.

On January 5th I went back to Auburn and slept, and didn’t sleep, and slept.  The cycle went on for about a week and from what I hear that’s a very mild case of jet-lag.  I’ll take it any day.

Before I left for Beijing I was I was feeling a little uneasy.  Not because I was headed to China for a month but because I had no idea where I was going to live FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.  Where did I want to settle down?  It wasn’t Chicago.  Apparently it wasn’t meant to be Auburn.  Where was it and when was it finally going to present itself?

And so it begins...  for the love of God who cares?  Have fun, search out new experiences and for once just sit back and admire those two-tone sequin BCBG pumps

Wednesday I packed 48lbs of warm weather stuff, my MacBook, a few external hard drives and my tennis racquet and I jumped on a one-way flight to Florida.  UPS will deliver my snowboard bag, filled with cold weather stuff, in a few days.  From here anything can happen.  I’m gonna put one foot in front of the other and everything else will fall into place.  Bring it.

wow...Im so jealous. My skills are slightly less portable, unless I can drag a few patients around the world with me. I'm happy to see you are taking the raquet w/ you. Your shoulder must be OK. Be safe, have fun!!
